Video is the light projection on the former Newseum calling out Trump
and the GOP, and a still preroll of the cops who hassled them

Washington DC—What was supposed to be a brief light projection onto a
building turned into a lesson in First Amendment rights for DC Police on
Wednesday night. While activists projected a series of slides onto the
side of John Hopkins University at 5th & Pennsylvania, a security
guard from the site approached them requesting they stop the projection.
The activists declined the guard’s request, saying it was within their
rights to project light from a public space—in this case, from the
median of Pennsylvania Avenue.

About an half hour later police officers arrived and asked the activists
to end their show. Police cited DC code they claimed the activists were
going against. The activists requested to see the code and police
shared it with them from their vehicle screen. The DC code details what
constitutes “defacement” of a building. It was this law that the police
officer was referring to as grounds to stop the projection.

Marcos was the acting police liaison and calmly interacted with the
police officer. He read back to him the DC code. He pointed out that
nowhere did it mention that light projection from a public space was
illegal. The light was not ‘defacing’ the building because it was not
damaging the building.

Guessing this video is from last night (Aug 4). ICE’s terrorism is
spreading in Florida. Clearwater has faced a full-on pogrom, and ICE
showed up in Immokalle. Looks from this video like they didn’t do so
well, an ICE agent at a gas station gets driven into their car

Same drill: ICE claims a car was “weaponized” against them when video evidence proves the shots were fired from the side of the car

ICE gets resisted because they are seen as “not real cops” with no legitimacy only the rule of the gun. This is because the agenda of ICE is “Make AmeriKKKa White Again,” they are Trump’s racial purity police.

Washington DC—If the last 18 months have taught us anything about the
United States, it feels much more divided than in living memory. There
are obvious signs that this country’s democratic experiment is melting
in its armored checks and balances. Its machinery is grinding and sounds
like it’s breaking apart.

Many things are going wrong with the country and it is apparent to most
every American what the effects are even if Americans cannot agree on
the reasons for them. Americans have never completely agreed on anything
unless in Congress they were voting to go to war.

On the 27th of June, St Petersburg FL had their annual Pride parade. “Greg” and his pack of theocratic Christian nationalists showed up to harass the Pride Crowd. One of the worst offenders wore a T-shirt calling for a “bibiical death penalty” for LGBTQ folks! This is the same crew that assaulted a child at Pasco Pride in 2023 and was trespassed from that event as a result. Yet they had police protection in St Petersburg.

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence must have had advance intel these enemies were coming, as they showed up PREPARED. In high drag they deployed a banner large enough to hide the street preachers from public view, and drowned them out in a storm of blowing whistles worthy of driving off an ICE raid.

The theocrats had divided into two main packs and a few solo operators. The first of the two main groups had had enough after a bit of counterprotesting by the Sisters, and they packed up and left, escorted by the cops. This allowed the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to engage and largely neutralize the other crew, blocking their message of hate.

The parade went off without a hitch, other than the occasional medical caused by excessive heat as always seems to happen. I could not stay to the end of the parade as I was getting overheated myself. Seems to be a coal-fired climate these days…

Greg’s crew talks of Jesus this and Jesus that, but they don’t act much like what written records say of the historical Jesus. The only mention of loaves and fishes in their presence that I heard was when I asked them about it. Nothing about scourging the money changers either. They could not answer coherently when I asked them what they thought of the murder of the children of Gaza by Isra-Hell either.

A long haired “hippie” serving 5,000 people in a park, then taking a whip to the back of a payday lender or a foreclosing mortgage banker would probably find the cops showing up with hammer and nails at the ready. No concern of any of that from Greg’s street preachers, only anti-LGBTQ venom and hate.
